Help keep the space useful.
Avoid spam, harassment, and misleading claims. Report content that needs attention. Moderators may close or remove content to support a constructive community.
Understand online statistics.
Online counts cover the last 15 minutes. Signed-in accounts are counted once within the Exchange; guests are browser sessions. Detected crawlers and automated clients appear separately as Bots and do not contribute to the People total. Detection is approximate: disguised bots can still appear as guests.
For cookie-free robots, a private keyed network-and-crawler digest prevents a new count for every page request. The presence table stores only that digest and last-seen time, without raw IP addresses, agent strings, names or countries. Records leave active counts after 15 minutes and are pruned on the next tracked forum visit; hosting logs have separate retention.
The main StruXllence website reads aggregate counts without opening a forum session. No names, addresses, session IDs or locations are sent in that public response. Each forum counts independently, so the same person may appear in both. Read the website privacy notice.
